MORALITY IN MEDICAL RADIOGRAPHY

Abstract

The question of morality in medical radiography has been an important one and will continue to be in the future. The idea of morality appears in every sphere of human endeavour, in its efforts to better his lot. There is the question of morality in the activities of a government, which should always have its decisions guided by ethical considerations (consider Jimmy Carter’s campaigns about morality in international relations). Professionals need to consider constantly the question of morals—particularly professionals who come in contact with human beings as they practice their convention—passing through it, and it is a well-known fact that when abused, these radiations are capable of harmful effects on the body.
